Mazarron in situated on the increasingly popular coast, the Costa Calida in the province of Murcia. It is ideally located for access to both San Javier airport in Murcia and El Altet in Alicante. The Mazarron area is really split into two main sections, the inland area of Mazarron town and the coastal area of Puerto de Mazarron.
The beach areas of Mazarron are stunning with the mountains reaching right down to the coastline in some areas to produce a network of secluded coves. The beaches vary in surface with some rocky and shingles although the majority are sandy.
