With more millionaires than ever before in history there is an increasing demand for luxury property all over the world. With many Europeans places like Spain remain a top choice for seeking out some of the best and most exclusive homes to purchase.
One location that has a history of multi-millionaire property owners is down on the southern coast of Spain, Marbella.
Back in the late 60’s / early 70’s Marbella became a destination for the jet set of the time. Hollywood actors and actresses, musicians, sports stars and even royalty descended on the town of Marbella.
The Marbella Golden Mile became THE place to be seen, especially in the Marbella Club Hotel and then later, the Puente Romano.

Benahavis is another area that has seen a remarkable influx of new property buyers and Estepona is the place on everyone lips at the moment.
One things through all of this growth that is still true is the fact that Spain, especially the Marbella and surrounding areas, remains one of the most popular places to purchase a luxury property.
